You Want Free Massages Next Week?

Free stuff usually comes with a catch.  So let's put the catch right up front.  3 Minute Angels needs a 'friendly' office environment to test drive our new Angel recruits.  We need you to assess our new Angels' massage and give us honest feedback about their communication skills.  Can your office do that?

We are looking for an office of stressed out staff in Sydney and in Melbourne.  We'll come to you with our newly trained staff and they will provide an hour of free massages for you and your work mates.

How do I get my free hour(s)?  Simply call us on 1300 662 022 and ask for Jenny.

Jenny will explain that we need up to 7 offices in Sydney to each have 10 people massaged and 6 offices in Melbourne to each have 10 people massaged.  If you are a larger office that is ok too.  All you have to do is tell us what days/times would suit you between Monday 15th of June and Friday 19th of June.  We have six new staff to train in Melbourne and seven new staff to train in Sydney, so call us now or email to reserve your free office massage.

Congratulations To Working Mums

All working mum's deserve praise and from the number of responses we received from you, Australia is happy to sing the praises of our tireless working mums.  This year with tougher economic times, the role of the working mum has seen the stakes rise again.  It was not uncommon for us to receive nominations for Mum's that were the sole bread-winner and primary carer.

This year is our 4th year running the competition and we loved hearing from all of you, but sorry there can be only one winner.  This years Working Mum Of The Year is: Carolyn Thompson from Enterprise Initiatives.  Nomianted by her husband - Ben, we hope you enjoy it...

"I'd like to nominate my wife - Carolyn.  Carolyn has just given birth to our 3rd child under 6 - Henry.  He was born on the 21st of April and because of difficulties had to be bought out by C-section.  Whilst recovering from that she has had sick parents and 3 of our own children who all have to be fed, cleaned, taken to school and junior sports.

At night the kids are keeping us both up between feeds, night terrors and nappy changes.    Apart from running the family, we run a business together where she is pivotal.  She is already back to work 35-hours a week, although she can't make it to the office as much.  Caz (my love) is my greatest inspiration and is the same to our staff.  She is the epitomy of strength, compassion and intelligence, but she always has time for a laugh.  I watch her in awe and am so grateful that she is with me - although I probably don't tell her enough.

I want to nominate her because she takes it all in her stride and never gets time to relax.  With all that goes on in our business and home I'm constantly amazed at what a great job she has done both.  With the kids she is an awesome mum.  She works so hard at it and has done so without a days break since before our eldest son was born.  With the business she is the partner of my dreams, we've gone through good times and bad times but together we've made it.  This year we are growing and getting stronger despite the GFC.  When it comes to Working Mums she's my number 1."

3 Minute Angels is a small business too and we appreciate the struggles that come with that.  We think Carolyn sounds particularly like she could do with a full body massage every month for the coming 12-months.  Congratulations to our 4th Working Mum Of The Year.

Angel Babies

Congratulations to Dave and Maja Wall the proud parents of a new girl.  Dave has been a long time friend of the Angels and our web developer for many years.  This morning we received this great message "Little Hala Sofia came yesterday.  2.9kgs she looks like she came from Narnia...elfish and can't stop feeding".  Congratulations Dave and Maja!

Flexibility At Work

looks at the way workplaces are arranged and helps businesses of all sizes to take advantage of flexible work practices.  With coming changes to the IR laws meaning employers will be legally bound to provide flexible work practices such as 'work-from-home' and job sharing options, the advice provided by this business couldn't be more timely.
